It's been a while since I blogged last.
Life has been kind of crazy lately. We have been busy with our last weeks of summer. B is looking for a job still. He recently had an interview that he felt really good about, so we are hoping that this one is the one, for a while at least. He is also finally feeling better after he got a summer cold. Why is it that summer colds seem to stick around so much longer then winter colds?
Yesterday was my grandma's birthday. It's the second year that she hasn't been here for her birthday so it was a kind of sad day. Mom was weepy and I spent a lot of time remembering. She was such a special lady and will always be dear to me. A friend of mine delivered her little girl yesterday, so that was kind of cool. Congrats Meg! Welcome, little Clara.
Erin over at Dishes and Wishes is without her husband Jake. He's at training for deployment for 2-3 weeks. She's learning how to basically live alone. I think it's a little harder then she expected. However, she did buy a car, finally. Jake was not here to ok it, but she had lots of other people check it out. I think Jake will be a bit envious of it once he sees it. It's a cute little VW Passat. Just the right car for Erin, in my opinion. Yeah for new cars!!!!
So as you can see, life is just moving right along. Hope your life is just as ...... whatever as ours. :)

Her Last Two Weeks
Over the last two weeks, I have spent soooo many hours with family. It's nice to have such a close family. A family that's there to lean on when you got through a time like this has been.
Grama would have been 100 years old on August 23rd, 2009. She always told us that she didn't want to be 100. Well, she got her wish. Sunday May 3rd, 2009 God took Naoma Ruth Brace in his arms and away from her pain and suffering. She had been sick and in pain for 12 days and now she isn't. I know that we will all miss her and that it will come in waves. Having spent so much time with her in her final days, I am amazingly comforted by the fact that she is where she wants to be now. Crying is part of it, I know, but the joy I felt for her when I found out she had been taken home was surprising. I love her so much and miss her already. I'm sure Saturday will be one of the hardest days in my life up to now, but for Grama, I am looking forward to it.

1st day or April
My 37 in 365 starts today. I brought my lunch and I need to take a picture. :) Not a bad start!
We went to visit with Grama after dance class last night and she was sleeping when we got there. We chatted with her for a couple seconds and then she was still groggy so we were just going to grab her laundry and head out. She perked up though so we got to hang out for a little bit. I was really pleased about that because I wussed out about going over on Sunday.
